My guess, 6600 must not be completely supported yet (new card)

First crash today after more than 24 hours without issue prior

I’ve been running the team black miner for a while now. I got good results after changing the pool to 2miners.com and use --xintensity 700. I see a poolside profit increase of around 5%.

Flexpool, etheremine and the hiveon pool pay nothing for stale shares, so changing the pool is your only option. Upgrade to the latest version of hiveos and run team black miner v1.22

as long as I am mining on ethermine, I have never experienced stale above 5%, at most only 3% after that it returns to 0-1%.

what is the effect when using TBM?

when using TBM, must use a pool of 2 miners, to be able to get maximum results?

intensity setting are for workload tweaking

if you’ve got more than 5 GPUs it can make a big difference

it stops the GPUs trying to use \ work the same resource at the sane time

example for my 6 x 1660 Super rig setting

## Can I run it in HiveOS ?

Yes. The Team Black miner was added on 22th October 2021.

## What is the best pools for this miner ?

Since, TBM can produce more than 1-2 % stales with high intensity (--xintensity), pools that reward stale shares is the best for this miner.

Also a high difficulty pool port is recomended with a high intensity setting.

Note that the ethereum blockchain rewards stale work/blocks. They are called uncle blocks. The uncle blocks are protecting the security of the blockchain.
**The ethereum blockchain pay 87.5% for level 1 stale shares. 6 levels of stale shares are payed, but the lower levels have a lower payout (lower level means later in time).**

Most mining pools reward stale work, but some have a buildt in limit of 5% allowed stales. So if you mine with more than 5% stales, the pools can start rejecting your shares
or ignore them.

Not sure what the 700 is about but its not listed in the correct range by TBM

Amd cards should run good on 1/4 the xintensity as nvdia. So you can try --xintensity 777

if using 2 miners, what number to use for –xintensity is -1 or 777 ??

Hello,

I am trying to build my first rig, and I have some problems with RX 6600 GPUs,

I have downloaded the newest Hive OS and successfully run Nvidia GTX 1660 TI.
Then I have tried to add the RX 6600. It crashes and restarts every few seconds, after DAG is generated:

GPU1 GPU1: DAG generated in 22.9 s (202.6 MB/s)
GPU1 GPU1: Unable to prepare kernels: clCreateKernel (-46)
wdog Fatal error detected. Restarting.

I don’t know if it helps but there is also one more error just after booting up: clBuildProgram(-11) (but it continues without restart).

I have tried unplugging Nvidia GPU, using RX 6600 XT, and also tried installing Hive OS beta image.
But the outcome is always the same.

Tried RX 580 and it does work.

AMD: A20.40 (5.11.0825)
Hive OS: 5.10.0-hiveos #60 (BETA)
phoenixminer: 5.8c

I have tested the ssd with the Hive OS image on different rig from my friend with 6 RX 6600 XT cards and there is the same error. He uses SimpleMining and it runs without problems.

Please help

Okay, I have changed phoenixminer version to 5.4c and it works like a dream.
