6700xt General Discussion

Hi. Change the version of phoenixminer to 5.5C

it same with me. all my rx6700 xt didn’t start mining. do you have found solution?

I had the same problem with my RX6700’s but was told to downgrade Phoenixminer to V5.5c. I chose v5.5c in the flight sheet. Now all cards on my rig are mining, but the rig is unstable, and sometimes, I get invalid shares.
Today Phoenixminer released a new beta version V5.7b of the miner with Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. I hope we will get it available in few days into HIVEOS too, and it will run better and stable.

Yes it’s the mining program that’s the issue, I switched from Pheonixminer to Nanominer, running stable ever since.

Might try a mixed flight sheet this weekend as suggested above

The best for mix rig is lolMiner…
With nbMiner you will have lot of Watts consumption. Nbminer hasn’t got good Watts kernels. T-Rex and TRM have got 1% Fee compared to lolMiner with 0.7%… so the deicision is easy

Hiveos version ?

Request to get the screenshot of eth settings, thank you very much! I wish you a happy life

Hi,
I would have loved to but i don’t have these cards in the same settings anymore, its in a different rig on simpleminingOS which i will share but the only way you can get very close to 48 is to have it on windows with fast timing and use phoenix miner.

Did you change the soc VDDMax? My RX 6700 XT wont below to 110 watt :frowning:

which miner do you use and hiveos version?

I am using 0.6-205@210715 with amd drivers 20.40 (5.11.0701)

I only changed core, memory controller and memory voltage with the setting of the image, nothing else. And the miner is nbminer.

I haven’t verified the consumption by the wall (I don’t have a smart plug or something like that), so I am not sure if that is exactly what my card is using. As soon as I get a smart plug I will update here.

Aah im using Gminer and got it now on 104 w, changed the SoC VDDmax and that would decreased the wattage and increased hashrate.

Ive just seen this video on YouTube, Can this be right? running two miners at once giving about 67mhs???
This must be unstable.

Hi there:
Just wondering what power supply are you using? I am running 5 6700xt, it gives about 875w at the wall. with my 1000w power supply. I don’t think I can put in the 6th card in my rig. so 100w ish per card + 36w for a riser card would put me over 1000w limit.

Let me know! Thanks!

I use two blocks, the first is cooler Master 1000W Gold and the second is Aero cool 850W gold and I connect the two with a double PS connector. for you it is necessary to be careful because for a PS 1000w gold it is not necessary to exceed the 800w (ps certify 80Gold: the guaranteed power is 1000w * 80% = 800w).
so I advise you to add another PS.

5 6700xt using 875 too much. mine 1 card only 96-108w.

with 875 w it is almost 90% of the power supply, it is a lot, to start with 5 6700xt your consumption would have to be 725 w and with hiveos 0.6-205@210715 the consumption would have to be approximately 660 w, in my case I am using two power supply 650w for 6 6700xt

67mhs I do not think they are real, maybe when two miners act, they are more wrong, you have to see how the pool reports them

Hi guys, can you share with me the best overclockg setting please? Im new with HiveOS. I have 8 pcs of XFX Speedster QICK 319 Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 MB GDDR6 in mining box powered by 2500W PSU and 4 pcs strong fans for cooling. My default mining speed is 34,70 Mhz but I would like more but safety for GPU. I’m using this Flight sheet -

Thanks
