I would advise using the Palit, it seems to have worked best for most. OC Settings are pretty much standard across this thread so just check out the other posts above as a guide on which miner to use and OC settings to put.

What’s the acceptance ratio? I heard TBM does a lot of invalids over other miners but that was on an AMD thread.

Not Sure if anyone has answered, but I have successfully modded the single fan PNY 1660Super with the Palit bios. I used hiveos to flash, and it failed the first time. Then, I just checked the ‘force’ button when flashing. It now reports as an Nvidia card, but it works
Steps:

Download the Palit bios from OP
Flash card bios using hiveos Overclocking → Flash Vbios → force flash (ignore security checks)
Set overclocks to desired starting, I went with Core: 1080 Mem: 2500 PL: 90

These are PNY single fan. it restart miner very hour or so, so it is not so stable. I am lowing the memory clocks by 50 at a time, still trying.

It has been running for almost 6 hours with no issues. I think these setting are stable now.

I flashed Asus TUF, everything ok 35+ MHs for a few days, but the error 0 FAN started to appear, followed by invalid shares. Gradually I removed the MEM up to 600, finally after about 3 months the original BIOS flashed.
Now 31.8 MHs stable and calm.

we can very well use winscp and copy the rom to required location in hive os. then from putty do the magic.

You find here even i tried to restore from back but failed then restored from this location . it worked .

now one question i have 5 1660 super different makes all are moded by palit rom but i have started to see that once in every 4-5 hours once rig resets it self no errors in hiveos. has anyone encountered this

Hi buddies,
I have 6X ASUS Rog Strix GTX 1660 Super (Hynix GDDR6 · 90.16.4F.00.78 · PL 70 W, 135 W, 162 W).
With Stock bios I’ve 31.7 mh/s for 900 core and -1005 memory.

I flashed both Palit & MSI bios to these cards on HiveOS:
On some of them I’m about 35.3 mh/s (with no fan and power draw!)

finally the problem is here that the Miner crashs suddenly without seeing anything in logs!
here’s a message I got on miner screen (nbminer) :
CUDA Error: unspecified launch failure (err_no=4)
Device 6 (or 5 or 3) exception, Exit …

I made many changes to memory but I can’t make it stable!
besides, all my cards are from one part and one shipping, Why shoud I have different mh/s on the palit/msi bios?

I turned stock bios back on the cards that doesn’t rise in hashrate.
I’ll be glad to have answers specially from @Befoor @liubros and anybody else.

I personally played with the settings for almost a month and eventually got back the original bios on each card and now for a week I have no problems with anything.
