Unable to Dual mine Eth+ton on vega 56/64

Looks like it is working on Vegas.

I started with --dual_intensity=0.5 so it is not full power for sure.
ETH hashrate stays the same. Power usage went up for about 40-50W per card.

Yes, it is. Below my screenshot. Set up just today.

Any specific timings or just leave same as eth?

I left the same and let it work for few days to check if it is stable.

You all running teamredminer? I don’t see the option to dual mine with it and I’ve updated everything to latest? I’ll give it a try

Configuration is similar to ETH alone (I mean coin ETH, wallet for eth, teamredminer etc.). The only difference is in Extra config arguments. You need something like this:
–ton -o stratum+tcp://tcp.whalestonpool.com:4001 -u EQCBbC6WItFzvfWfgRExxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx -p x --ton_end
–dual_intensity=0.5

Here’s what I’m getting straight, no lower intensity, I only lost .04eth mhs
Keep in mind this is a water cooled vega 64 w vega 56 bios

Hello,
Can you share the eth+ton pool template image?

same here, just not work, only eth /only ton but no dual

teamredminer
If your on Whalestonpool you can just paste this into extra commands box
–ton -o stratum+tcp://tcp.whalestonpool.com:4001 -u walletaddress.rigid -p x --ton_end

Change Wallet address and rig id to your own

thanks man, the problem was the oc!

I was able to get running on TeamRedMiner as well with 3 changes from my normal ETH settings:

  • lowered Core Clock by 25 on my Vega56 (GPU0)
  • lowered Core Clock by 50 on my Vega64s (GPU1-4)
  • add --dual_intensity=0.5 to ‘Extra confing areguments’

I started mining with my Vega 56/64 rigs yesterday. Lost 2-5 mh/s per rig (8x gpus each) and am getting around 1.1 gh/s per gpu. I didn’t change any of the OC settings, and power consumption has increased significantly.

Power consumption increase is normal, that is the cost of mining the TON. I lost ~1 mh/s across 5 GPUS.

I can not manage to start it to mine .What am I doing wrong?

Try --ton_start not just --ton

Something else I found out is you can use the device command to select what GPUs you want to mine eth and then after the ton start command you can do another device command for the ones you want to mine ton. You can also adjust intensity on each card differently. I did all of this to help my total power draw and because I have one card that doesn’t like to mine both without changing the oc pretty big.

I don’t know how you can get your voltage so low on these cards but that’s fantastic!
