RX6800 - Efficient Overclocking

Stock bios and my overclock settings .

In “Popular presets” find one with a DPM setting you need then edit the other parameters as you like

These are pretty good. XFX looks like the best brand right now out of all the other RX 6800’s out there.

Yeah but hella expensive. 3070 is close and cheaper tho

My 6800 cannot get above 53mhz no matter what OC did i used, im suspect that it is due to SoCMhz is a bit low here and i cant OC it either. Any thought? thank!

(GPU 0 and 1 are 6700xt, work perfectly fine)

you cant
if DPM show on screen
go to overclocking tab , then clear the oc settings
and then re-apply them

Not in my city. 3070 prices here are through the roof and the RX 6800s, though rare, are 20-25% cheaper.

Where you from?

Here in Dubai I got the 3070 for 1,121 USD and 1,800+ USD for the RX 6800

can you share the bios from Hive? I dont have a windows system to update it. If you can export it and share it, it would be great

Hope the July HiveOS release includes the recently released 21.20 driver.

And I hope to God this driver makes HiveOS a better OS for the RX 6800 series.

Hello, vbios is ready but I can’t send it here, you can reach me on Instagram with my username. umityksll

it will work with every brand of 6800 ?

Identical 6800 cards, different share count.
2562 vs 2614 with a difference of 52 shares

6800

i don’t know why there is so much difference between those 2 cards, what can i do? i’m using team red miner

every cards are different that it

Reduce Fan to 70% , maybe help a litle

Hi all
i use
5.4.0-hiveos #108
20.40 (5.9.0325) AMD driver
core 1200 memory 1125 vith 775/775/1350 mv
phoenixminer v 5.6d with no extra command

any help for better hashrate is welcome

VDDC default jump to 950mv with latest Hive Os update. (value using teamredminer)
Setup 750mv in OC show more reasonable 831mv still in teamredminer and drop W by 30W

The maximum memory clock on windows is 2150 / 2 on linux the maximum on HiveOS is 1075 so your 1125 is wrong, try using the range 1050-1075 and find yourself which is the best for your cards

After updating HiveOS to version 0.6-205@210715 the overclock is not correct on the MSI RX 6800 board and the Mhs dropped to 50 Mhs. I was using 1350 Core and 1070 Men.
