i love when they buy first and read later…

Show me ur stats

So this rig has a 98% efficiency and a LA rating of .44
It’s been mining for four days with no issues (getting it to stability was tough). 3070 LHRs are temperamental - you can push them and they’ll be fine for a bit before going crazy and crashing the rig; this is likely due to the limiter which I believe is related to vram phases. Dummy plugs seem to help in stability but do not increase hash rates - same goes for the 16x pcie but I’ll have to dig more here. Switching the stock bioses back and forth increases hashrates for an hour or so but eventually the card destabilizes and you get invalid shares (this again makes me think that a vbios change is the solution, maybe in combo with dummy plugs)

3325 memory on the 3070’s??
Dude, you just trying to kill your GPU ?..lol
Max memory is 1500, so in Hive its 3000, your at 3325…hahaha.

No wonder your numbers are so good…death by memory…lol

Well, it’s stable and under temp; it’s an ftw3 lhr so I’d say it’s a healthy choice for this card. I’ve been mining since 2013 and have yet to kill or brick a gpu (i’ve had the p106’s since launch and mined on 390’s before that), BUT there’s a first time for everything.

Under what temp?

110c gddr6 max; I (and probably most miners) aim for 60c under load.

Your at 60c at 3325?..
No way

I’m under at 54c and 57c

Memory temp?. Lol i dont buy it

Show me

Core temp. As you know, there’s no way to see memory temp on hiveos (maybe i’ll get cracking on coding a hiveos memory temp feature). backplate spot temp with digital thermoter has it at 38c, gpuz on my test bench had it at +/- 3* of core under max load (3000 on windows) so I’m taking that as core as my reading.

Lol this is exactly why i asked. yes, im very aware that u need to benchark in windows first.
Your core temp has no bearing on memory temp.
You could have a 30-40 degree difference between them. Never assume.
Your cooking ur memory, your over max.
Back plate temp isn’t at the memory junction

I have 3 RTX 3070 LHR, and been mining RVN for more than a week now

stable at 30.8 mh/s @145W

@ andrewholland This is stable for ravencoin? Did you try ERG with this card?

Wembley,

I have since made small modification as was getting some invalid shares:
17 July 2021
Linux HiveOS:
Driver: 465.31
Hashrate 39.6 MH/s //// Core: 110 // Mem: 2100 // PL: 250w // Fan: 80%
No I have not with ERG, my objective is RVN till Jan 2022 till the halving…

What are your overclocks.
I may try on my non Lhr 3070s today to experiment.

i tried your oc setting on my 3070 ti, but kept dropping to 30 mh/s after a few minutes

do you use the dummy hdmi plug?
