hello, i have the same problem , no one of bios mod working on hive os, but with 1185/2900 value, i have 32.35 mhs, 12 hour tested without problem. this new gpu have manfacturing date december 2022
The memory at 2900 is not too much? I am getting 30.4 at 1050/2200 I have not dared to increase the memory value more
I have flashed rig of 10 asus tuf dual fan with palit bios. Took long time to find stability and is different mclk for every card to achieve such. Trex does not always show which gpu causing the crash which is frustrating but persistence will lead to stability. If ambient temp changes due to warm days may have to lower clocks even further.
I have never had an issue with fan speed or watts being reported if using drivers 460 series or lower. I have noticed on three separate cards the watts did dramatic jumps ~20watts after mining stable for many days. I reflashed palit bios in every instance and on the first two cards watts returned to normal range (62 to 86watts varies on card) however on the third this watt increase seems permanent (94watts from 74watts) Going to start monitoring wattage from wall to validate software readings.
Wondering if anyone else out there has encountered this and there thoughts and efforts to resolve?

depend of what the temp you want to aim and the fan speed you want to set.
ASUS gifted you with their DRM bios locked 1660 Super, now you can’t bios mod those with hynix vram anymore
Got several of those cards, hynix vram, came with new bios, tried to flash it then os reports nvidia drm error and hang . Thanks to ASUS being so nice

yeah the newer card. using 90.16.5a bios cant mod the bios because after the bios they think the card memory was using samsung.

Certainly, the GTX1660Super (MSI) purchased in 2022 succeeded in flashing the BIOS,
but Hiveos froze at the start.
Then I went back to the first BIOS.

My memory vendor changed from Hynix to Samsung after flashing the Palit bios provided here. Any subsequent bio flashes are successful but the memory vendor now always shows Samsung instead of Hynix.
How do I flash it back to Hynix? or is my card bricked now? The card hard crashes hiveos upon boot now if I’m not in maintenance mode.

Its been a while i runned my 1660s Palit BIOS 8 of Them on my rig. Mix of ASUS tuf evga and mai. Had you experimented some miner issues but with not showing the error.
The miner restart itself like nothing, i know by the usage of this BIOS it may shows somme error fan or Power comsumption. But for the miner what Do you suggest?
Wow, your 1660s is running at 37MH with core 1100 and mem 2950! So you found a way to solve the BIOS problem? can you share it, please?
Does anyone have overclock settings for ASUS TUF 1660 Super on stock bios 90.16.5A.00.32.
Tried a few different combos already, but can’t seem to get more than 28.7 mh/s where other super 1660s are 30-31 mh/s on stock bios all on hiveos
core -200, mem -1004, pl 75 watts
core 930, mem -1004, pl 75 watts
core 0 , mem -1004, pl 75 watts
Try 1060 2400 80, it may dont need minus memory.
My 1660 super hynix 90.16.5A.00.19 running at 30.8mh/s.
If anyone has some better suggestions for this newer versions it would be great.
1660 super hynix 90.16.5A.xx.xx can running at 1250,3300. Don’t set watts limit.

Lol 1250 3000 got me 32.29mh/s. 46°, 42% fans and 70w. 
Very nice if you concider its without flashing.
testing this overnight - right now at 32.5 mh/s , 49°, 70% fans and 76w
