Hi,
I have been mining WOWnero (a randomX based XMR memecoin) for a while using xmrig_new with a modified h-config.sh as explained in this tutorial, wow having slightly different parameters and needing a manual modification of the file, further than miner options.
It was working like a charm, but this coin is solo mining only and hashrate has increased a lot last times. Thus, I want to go back to Monero, but there is an incompatibility when I start xmrig_new using Monero parameter in my flight sheet : nothing happens and miner doesn’t want to start.
I deleted the hive/miners/xmrig_new folder and tried to force hiveOS reinstall it while rebooting and launching a Monero flightsheet, but I have an error saying that miner is not present and no config file is found.
Is there anyway to really wipe xmrig_new and install it, like a factory reset ? I tried package manager or using hiveOS GUI but I can’t figure it out. I have backed up my wownero h-config.sh file elsewhere.
For information, mining using xmrig (old) works but there is a loss of about 10% performance, xmrig_new having last performance improvements features.
Thank you
