I am worried if dual mining ZIL and ETH will spoil GPUs in the long run due to generating DAG files multiple times a day. I have many Vega 64s which are pretty old cards and am afraid it will brick it due to the sheer amount of generating DAG files and mining on and off every 90 minutes. Should i mine ETH only or ETH+ZIL?
any mining/general use will contribute to wear and tear. keep the temps where they should be and its unlikely that will cause a sooner failure.
my personal opinion is if you want to keep them pristine for the next guy, put them in their box and back on the shelf. if you bought them to mine, mine.
