how do I troubleshoot why the hive service is taking 5 minutes to boot? What could be causing this to be so slow? I have another rig with a very similar setup that boots in 15% of this time.
Would you happen to have HiveOS installed on a USB drive?
Is this a fresh install of the latest stable on a known good drive?
fresh install, on 2 different drives
no. mSATA SSDs. fresh install/image using this: https://download.hiveos.farm/history/[email protected]
you probably would need to check during boot. I’ve found that sometimes it has trouble connecting to wifi and waits several minutes hoping the network will come up.
