Hey Forum, I Got a nice setup, consists of
some Xfx RX580 GTS XXX Edition
some Xfx RX580 GTS Black Edition
some Powercolor RX580 Reddevil
some AREZ RX580
some ASUS RX580
Etc…
But those RX580 cards varies in power usage, from 75watt to near 150watt???
all performing approx. 30MH/s ± 700KH/s
have them clocked at the same safe settings.
all “one click” polaris modded
Have tried to fiddle around with core clock, mem clock and memory timings, but can´t get the most power hungry cards down near the best cards, why is that? they all use the same RX580 Polaris GPU.
But with different color fan, LED, bells and whistles. BUT TWICE the power for same horse power?
Reported power draw is far from accurate on Polaris cards. Check power draw at the wall for each one individually and I’d bet they’re not actually that far off from each other as long as you have proper oc and core state and aggressive undervolting turned on
