WD Power - Is it getting the information directly from the rig?

Hi guys,

I want to ask something. In the WatchDog options, there is an option called WD Power. Is it getting the information directly from the rig or is it getting it in some other way? Because my wattmeter is showing 260watts consumption, but if I set the max power to 300 watts let’s say, is it going to turn off the rig if in hive os the consumption is said to be 306 watts?

hive only knows what the software tells it. but yes, that reported power draw is what hive uses for the watchdog settings
