Using FARM_HASH

You can find FARM_HASH on the web. Using it you can easily add rigs in bulk without creating rigs on the web and getting RIG_ID. Hash is unique for each farm.

Write Hive image as usual to your Flash/SSD. After the write you’ll find HIVE disk in Windows. It holds Hive config files, there is rig-config-example.txt in there. Open it, edit and save as rig.conf


HIVE_HOST_URL="https://api.hiveos.farm"

# Find out your hash in farm's settings on the web
# The rig will autoregister itself in your account after the first run
FARM_HASH=<your farm hash goes here>

# Password used for the rig
RIG_PASSWD=

# If you know rig id before creation you can set it here leaving FARM_HASH blank
RIG_ID=

# If you use FARM_HASH you can optionally name your rig otherwise the name will be autogenerated
WORKER_NAME=

...........

Put your Farm Hash, copy the value from the web.

FARM_HASH=f019745da6ba65630b28ef3c92608e7022b4bf76

No need to set RIG_ID or RIG_PASSWD.

That’s it, just to set the value in rig.conf

Now boot your rig and it will connect to web automatically.

FARM_HASH can be effectively used with Hive Flasher for bulk rig installations

Значение FARM_HASH можно найти в веб интерфейсе на закладке Account. Используя это значение вы можете быстро и легко добавить риги в вашу ферму на HiveOS без необходимости создания ригов через веб интерфейсе и указания RIG_ID. Это уникальный хеш для каждой фермы.

Запишите образ Hive как обычно на Flash/SSD. После записи диска вы найдете том с меткой HIVE в Windows. Он содержит конфигурационные файлы Hive OS, здесь же вы найдете файл с названием rig-config-example.txt. Откройте его , отредактируйте и сохраните на диске с именем rig.conf

Поместите сюда значение Farm Hash, скопированное из веб панели, таким образом:

FARM_HASH=f019745da6ba65630b28ef3c92608e7022b4bf76

Не нужно ничего писать в переменные RIG_ID или RIG_PASSWD.

Это все что нужно прописать в файле rig.conf

Теперь включайте ваш риг и он подключиться к вашей ферме на Hive OS автоматически.

You can boot up without rig.conf. After booting up - connect to the rig (via ssh, or console) and type firstrun. That way rig will ask you to input Rig_ID and password. Prior to that - login into HiveOS dashboard, add new rig and you will get that Rig_ID.

Не меняется формат файла rig.conf / остается в таком же формате блокнота txt , что же может быть

прошёл год, и пришло время перезаписать флэшку, в общем опять ничего не менялось, а как прошлый год сделал уже забыл, дак вот сейчас напишу что бы в будующем опять когда забуду у себя и спрошу ))) ато у много у кого спрашивал на форумах что то неговорят, потыркался и сделал следующее— в вин 10, наводиш на значёк виндовс правой кнопкой и открываешь ПРОВОДНИК потом сверху слева вкладка ВИД потом с права чють ниже ПАРАМЕТРЫ открываеться параметры папок -клацаешь ВИД и ползунком опускаешься вниз , далее снимаешь галочку с СКРЫВАТЬ РАСШИРЕНИЯ ДЛЯ ЗАРЕГИСТРИРОВАННЫХ ТИПОВ ФАИЛОВ, ну и сохраняешь, Надеюсь кому то помог, ато когда искал встречались аналогичные вопросы
