USB vs SSD?

I’ve been running my rig off a USB drive since i got it a few weeks ago. Things appear to be running fine, no issues with running the OS. Is there much of an advantage of installing HiveOS on to an SSD and running from there? Or am i fine leaving it on USB?

ssd will be faster during installs/upgrades and boot/reboots. an ssd will typically last longer as well.

Enabling logging is possible for SSD installs, USBs tend to get crushed with the writes. Eventually, you’ll wish you had logs enabled.
