Unable to reorder worker tags - too many tags

I make good use of the worker tags but have hit some type of upper-limit where rearranging them has become broken on Chrome and Firefox. Last count I have nearly 40 tags, and while they work just fine I’m able to reorder them for display hierarchy.

Any solutions?

If you remove a few tags does it work as expected?
