Settings and results for mining Grin (C29) with nVidia

today I started mining grin@sparkpool with 6x 1070 (nonTI).

Here are my results till now:
Bminer 13.1.0

• Core 0 | MEM +400 | PL 135W
  25.6 gps

• Core 0 | MEM +400 | PL 100W
  23.4 gps

• Core 0 | MEM +400 | PL 90W
  22.1 gps

• Core 0 | MEM +400 | PL 80W
  21.1 gps

• Core 0 | MEM +400 | PL 75W
  19.8 gps

• Core +100 | MEM 0 | PL 80W
  21.6 gps

I will continue testing with MEM- and Core-Clock

Edit: atm I have about 7-9% rejected shares

Many thanks for the info and settings. I just swapped to Bminer with 2 x 1070 in a test rig and it jumped from 6.1 GPS with gringoldminer to 8,24 GPS with Bminer 13.1.0.

atm my Rig runs with [ Core +100 | MEM 0 | PL 80W ] @ 21.6 gps
This means 550W from the wall.

I could never get Bminer to work properly with SparkPool because I probably kept getting the configuration wrong (URL, worker name, etc. etc.)

Can someone please share with me how to configure Bminer with SparkPool? I must be missing something if each time I couldn’t get my workers to show up on SparkPool.

• First, create a wallet for Grin with Address: [email protected]
• For Pool choose spark and C29.
• in Miner config choose “cuckaroo29” on top.
• Wallet and Worker Template: %WAL%/%WORKER_NAME%
• Pool URL: %URL%
• Pass: x

These are my seetings and everthing works fine. To see my results at sparkpool I enter my Email.

Bminer 14.0.0 (with hive 0.6-10@190128) reduced my invalid share rate to 4%-5%. With 13.1.0 i’ve had 6%-7%.

Furthermore some tweaking results:
MEM @+500 does nothing to the hashrate!

Some Updates:
6x 1070 [Core +100 | MEM 0 | PL 85W] i’ve had 22,6 gps wiht 14.0.0 and 14.2.0
but rejected shares “dropped” to 4.5%

Today I updated to 14.3.1 and gps raised to 23.0-23.4 gps. I will look at the rejected shares and give you an update asap.

Tested GMiner @C31 and C29 with my rig ---- 6x 1070 [Core +100 | MEM 0 | PL 85W]

@C31 I get 2.2 gps but no shares at sparkpool
@C29 I get 22.1 gps but with 2% Fee for GMiner.

what are the settings for sparkpool ?
i try to use it with a email but got no shares over one hour.
Have to use Nanopool but wanna also try Sparkpool.
BTW here are my results for a
P106-100 6GB GPU @ +150 core, +0 Mem, only 65W PL with Bminer
Nanopool @C29 2.7gps

Hi guys,
I updated a few minutes ago to version 0.6-21 and I saw an excessive drop in my hash, from 54 to 42. But what seems strange to me is that the GPUs 1,2 and 3 now do not exceed 2,200. OC setting is Core 135, MEM 0, PL 120, FAN 60 and temperatures are below 40 degrees.
I have read that the Fidelity has improved and therefore even if the GPS are inferior in reality the production is greater … but because 3 GPUs are blocked at 2,200 and before they were all between 3,600 3 4,200?

Hey everyone. Dragging this back up because post merge I was thinking of switching to Grin for all the 30 series cards and was wondering if anyone has tried some OC’s for those?
