I’ve got two rx570 in one of my rigs and hive says ~82 watts. Reality is closer to 130-140 watts (have same cards in other rig).
Is this something known?
Power consumption is reported by the card driver and it shows only part of the power used by card itself. There are many more electronic parts in computer consuming power, so power consumption from the socket will always be much higher than the one reported by the card. Even the ratio and difference between reported and from the wall is dependent on the algorithm cards are working on.
