I recently got a new RX6600XT. I connected the card to my miner with a riser (proved to be working), but the card just won’t start mining. I wonder if it’s the hardware’s problem or the os’s problem? The fans are spinning as how they are supposed to be, but the card cannot be recognized by the mining software.

GPU: AsRock AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT

does it show up properly in hive? what kernel are you on? a screenshot (uncropped) of your worker overview tab should answer all my questions
When I installed the card before, yes, it did show up.
I am now asking my friend to re-install the card for me, (the miner is at his place), so that I can give you the screenshot as requested.
Your image is too old, reflash the latest stable by running hive-replace -s in the shell.
