I would need a MOD for the following card:
Radeon RX 580 - 8192 MB - XFX
Samsung K4G80325FC
I have tried many vBios but none of them work, HiveOS does not detect the memory.
To check the memory of the card I disassembled it to see the exact memory that was needed for my card.
I remain at your disposal if you need additional information.

I think the size of that BIOS is about 512K. If you have a different size, please send me the original rom with the link wetransfer.com
@Abagada don’t you have the original? First you have to find the correct BIOS for that GPU and check what happens. If you load the original rom and still have problems, please send your error message to us, copy past the information here, that way is much easier for someone to help you.
Do you mind emailing me this partciular bios if you download from your farm? I downloaded to compare, your card seems to draw much less power in HiveOS following your settings. Mine sits around 77-79w.

Each rx580 GPU that I have gives me different power consumption on HiveOs. Is not the real state of consumption. (Not in the case of AMD cards. This cards use around 130W approx. ) Use the wall socket to measure the actual consumption status. Send me your settings or your rom to [email protected] perhaps I can help or someone from here can help you too…
I have sent you an email. Curious to see if we can drop the power at all. The gigabyte card does run warm will be doing a repaste tomorrow.

@herbenerf if you have the same problem, glad to use Mythone’s roms mod and test them too…
@adibemon maybe is not the bios modification (if you just mod the rom) try to play with OC. Like use DPM 1 (active agressive undervolting/ amdmemtweak –REF 30) and other things…

May I ask what had been changed from the roms I sent? I had already used the Polaris Bios Editor one click patch. I have been messing around with bios modding just wanting to try expand my knowlege or understand better how to push these chips. Thanks!

The change are in the 1750 Mhz and 2000 Mhz Timing Strap. (I’m not an expert)
they look the same but they are different … Sorry, I just cut the whole number, it’s much longer … but it’s just an example to give an idea
Maybe someone from this forum can explain more about how it works exactly and how to improve GPU Bios for all !
I might open Red Bios Editor and inspect the memory strappings to see if they are the same or different. Thanks again.

Hace unos días ingresé a este sorprendente mundo y estoy tratando de hacer funcionar mi pequeño rig.
Actualmente tengo 10 GPU´s RX 580 8gb, de las cuales he logrado hacer funcionar bastante decentemente a 8 de ellas.
Las 2 que se rehúsan a cooperar son de esta marca/modelo: AFox AFRX580-8192D5H7-V2
La placa entiendo por la información del GPU-Z es un modelo “recortado” con 2048 shaders, similar a una RX 570.
Traté de modificarla con Polaris sin resultados, por lo que actualmente está funcionando con la bios stock.
Tenés alguna idea si se consigue una bios optimizada para minería para esta GPU ?

Hola titan! como estas? che te hago una consulta, le puse el biosmod tuyo a mi placa Rx 580 Afox con memoria samsung K4G80325FB. poniendole undervolting y el amdmemtweak -REF 20 llega a tope 26.26Mh. ahora, quiero ponerle cualquier OC y se me va a 0Mh hasta que tira error y se reinicia. que puede ser?? (ademas que las placas que me tocaron con esta memoria son una porqueria?) tengo otras hynix fueron mucho mas sencillas.
Espero puedas ayudarme ya que me estoy volviendo loco. jeje
