RX 560 Mining ERGO

Hi Everyone

I got my hands on 5 x Asus Strix RX 560’s and 1 x MSI RX 470

All 4GB Cards, since they can’t do ETH, I was thinking Ergo

Can you please share your settings for best possible power consumption / performance

Hi,

I made Bios Mod on my RX 560 Biostar (it appears as RX 460 on HiveOS, I don’t know why), and I got the following hashs:

The OC data I’m using i took from the core clock / VDD table presented on Polaris Bio Editor… I also noticed that after bios mod the memory clock rose from 2000 mhz to 2300 mhz (see below):

As I am in Brazil, mine core temperature is higher, but I belive that’s influence of ambient temp.
I am still doing some tests on it if you try different things or get different results, please, let me know.

try 2100 on memory clock…
and then post a print how it is now…

With your rom its goin 33-34 now. On old rom i was on 20-23.

Nothing big changed with 2100.

update with 2100 gpu hangs and goes to 0mh. Reverted back to 1950.

Works perfectly, flashed 4 x Asus Strix RX560 to RX460’s
With the exact settings it kept crashing, been stable now for 24hours with pretty decent Wattage/MH
Memory only @ 2060, Core at 950, all other settings left blank
34.85MH on Ergo @ 15W (Around 30W at the wall)
The 2 x Vega56’s are doing ETH

You can try these settings after the mod

i am getting 34.5 now with this setting. Testing for few hours.

That is good news, can you post a screenshot of your wattage as well.

Reduced memory to 2000 and no more crashes with amdmemtweak.

Fist time stable almost 24 hours at 33/34 Mhs

Average 24 Hour Hash Rate: 30.68 MH/s

Hi,

This BIOS mod is amazing but I just flashed 2 cards and instead of 16 compute units it only recognises that card has 14 (with original bios it was 16)

So I think there is a bit space for improvement?

The 5 I bought were all Asus Rog Strix with Micron Memory

Are all cards have same memory? all of them are micron?
The bios attached is for GPUs with micron memory.

I currently have 3 different cards, Sapphire, XFX and gigabyte all with Micron memory
