Hello. Please, how install driver for RTX 5090?
I have nvidia driver now 550.142, and my card is in hiveOS is MALFUNCTION.
I use command Nvidia-driver-update --list and latest version showing 550.144.03.
I use command manually: “555.58” and driver update installing … and after that: Driver installation failed (1)…
I have kernel 6.6.0-hiveos.
Please, how update driver, for RTX 5090? Thank you much!!!
Looks like the latest compatible driver is currently 570.153.02 (~2 weeks old)
To install you would run nvidia-driver-update 570.153.02 preferably from the shell so you can watch progress, once it says driver install successful you should be good, id reccomend rebooting after successful install as well.

I dont think theres really much difference as far as mining goes between 570/580/6xx drivers. I have a mix of them installed on different rigs
Try that gpu on its own, ive also heard of some people on older chipsets having issues with 50 series gpus, you may need to force pcie gen or use a newer board
