RTX 2070 issue

Hello,

I am having an issue with a RTX 2070 card. I am unable to configure it and to make it mine, I have error in phoenix miner “no CUDA capable device is detected” and in hiveos I have error “nvtools error” and I don’t see any temp or popular preset for the card.

My motherboard is an Asus Prime h470 plus. My configuration is working fine for a 1660 super and a 3060ti.

I’ve already tried to :

• change the riser and connection (I changed to a riser working for the 1660 super and to a riser working for the 3060ti)
• update the motherboard bios
• set the bios settings for my motherboard found here https://www.ausrigs.com/crypto-currency-mining-forum/mining-rig-gear/asus-prime-h470-plus-motherboard-ethereum-mining
• update nvidia driver

I am out of idea.

Why it isnt working for the rtx 2070? Did I make a mistake? What can I try to fix it?

Driver not working correctly
Try boot in maintenance mode without loading drivers and reinstall driver.
Check that GUI on boot enabled

Hi, thank you for your answer.

I have tried inserting the GPU into my gaming PC directly into a PCI port, but the card is showing weird “pixel waves” so I think the problem is the GPU.

I took it second-hand from a merchant site, I’m just going to return it to them and get a refund.
