Hello, Thank you for answering, I tried but it seems that I did not do it well, I do not know how to do it, you could help me to achieve it, I tried in many ways, but none with positive results.
Thanks !
Yeah its a typo. So you get 4 less watts per card at the expense of 1 mhs per card.
I tried toy setting for the saphire rx 570 with the samsung memory. I have similar rx 570 but the asrock shit. I get the same 31.22 mhs like yours but with 105 watts. With my settings 1131 825/800 2050. I get 30.80 with 95 watts. So no point pushing it more. Also the DPM doesnt do shit when you set the core voltage and clocks. Tested with or without DPM and its the same.
yes, noticed same. I knew that u can leave Core and vdd blank and only set dpm, didnt know it works other way around allso. No harm or benefit to have it set. Still keeping mdpm with only Mem value set. Agree that there is no point to push for few extra hash. This rig has been stable as rock for some time but started to play with oc s and managed to shave +10W with most cards still +32mh…its just nice to have them a bit higher than 570’s Thanks for mentioning fans, havent really looked into those in long time, i raised core max temp a bit and now they are around 50-60%, really good improvements. Have a profitable mining!
I am newbie in mining, can someone here help me to get oc setting in XFX RX 580 8GB? below image currently running, thanking in advanced for your help,
your cards are not bios modded right?
i would put VDDCI to 800 and remove MVDD and MDPM and DPM. they are not needed.
i did let you know. Memory Controller Voltage (VDDCI) to 800.
Remove core State ( DPM state )
Remove Mem State ( MDPM )
Memory Voltage also because its for Navi cards , your cards are Polaris based.
Switch On Aggressive Undervolting.
You deleted the wrong setting dude. Core voltage is 850. You have put 0. Delete the 1350 memory coltage.
But still without bios mod i dont think you will achieve 30+.
what is the 835 setting? VDD? VDDCI? or MVDD?
These are mine and the only bios mod on here is one of the Sapphires I think. I know the top is original.
In your current settings you have 0/800/1350 0 is the vdd the core voltage which needs to be around 850. 800 is the memory controler voltage which is ok. 1350 you need to delete because your cards doesnt have it. Its for other cards.
The saphire ones are the best GPUs and they can do quite much usually without bios mod. But sometimes its needed.
I tried both with and without and it did not make much difference for some reason on mine. I see the Sapphires going up to 33-34 but I tried a lot of different settings and just settled on these. My favorites are just the MSI cards, I like them because they only use 1 power connector and do well for me.
33-34 are way too pushed to the max. 31-32 is normal
You have to do it your self. Go to overclocking tab and hit the button download vbios. After downloading it you need to download polaris bios editor. Open the image file with the polaris bios editor and hit one click timings mod. Then save the file with different name , file should be named something.rom after that from the same tab in hiveos hit flash vbios and Select the file and card and hit flash. Start with OC settings 1150 core clock 850 core voltage, 800 memory controller voltage 2050 memory clock.
