OC settings for AMD RX580

In your current settings you have 0/800/1350 0 is the vdd the core voltage which needs to be around 850. 800 is the memory controler voltage which is ok. 1350 you need to delete because your cards doesnt have it. Its for other cards.

The saphire ones are the best GPUs and they can do quite much usually without bios mod. But sometimes its needed.

I tried both with and without and it did not make much difference for some reason on mine. I see the Sapphires going up to 33-34 but I tried a lot of different settings and just settled on these. My favorites are just the MSI cards, I like them because they only use 1 power connector and do well for me.

33-34 are way too pushed to the max. 31-32 is normal

Hi, I have this card, but I need the bios mode. Could you please share it?

REF 30

thanks!

You have to do it your self. Go to overclocking tab and hit the button download vbios. After downloading it you need to download polaris bios editor. Open the image file with the polaris bios editor and hit one click timings mod. Then save the file with different name , file should be named something.rom after that from the same tab in hiveos hit flash vbios and Select the file and card and hit flash. Start with OC settings 1150 core clock 850 core voltage, 800 memory controller voltage 2050 memory clock.

Thanks!! I did it as you told me and I achieved 32Mh / s. Thanks again !! :love_you_gesture: :vulcan_salute:

Post the OC settings. Lets see how it runs. Temps and watts

Here you have:

Ref --30

Could it be better? Please advise.

Thanks!.

Ref should be 20 usually for samsung memory. The temp is high. Is the card new? It might need cleaning. Also why dont you try with core clock 1150. You will loose just a little mhs but temp and watts should become lower. Put also in the OC settings the VDDCI 800 ( memory controler voltage ). You can switch on also the aggressive undervolting option.

Thanks, I’ll try that. Yes, the card is new. I bought it three days ago.

What would be a reasonable wattage, temperature, and fan speed?

Any good experiences with autofan settings? Should I use it?

with your recommended settings, I get this. The temperature is a little higher than before (66C vs 64C) but the consumption a little lower (from 79w to 75w).

REF 20

it shouldnt be higher since you reduced the core clock a bit and the watts reduced, that means less power is drawn and less heat.
Autofan , you can use it if you like. basically you set the desired temp and the fan changes its speed to reach the temp. that means it may run faster all time if it can not cool the GPU enough. Also if it can easily cool it and reach the desired temp , it will slow down for some time until the GPU heats again. but i personally prefer to set it at stable speed and this way the temp of the GPU wont vary.
About watts the lower the better but every card is different. Mine does 30.80 MHs while consuming 95 watts and its RX 570 Asrock with samsung memory. your card does quite a great job here pulling only 75 watts power.
Make a test and remove the VDDCI and check if it returns to 64 degrees or its just hot where you live. but i dont think it will make any effect. still it seems the card is hot. mine is running 54 degrees with 60% fans and is pulling 95Watts with core clock 1131  and mem 2080. Find the differences, your core and mem are higher and you get 20 less watts and almost 1 MHs more.

Its allways a compromise with wattage/hash/temps…autofan or like TRM --fan_control= conf is good options with temp control. Have had this rig all +32…33mh with high wattage/temps but now i have pushed temps and hash down, with totoal 25gpus that is a significant difference in total consumption…its a different game if u dont pay too much of electricity. After all…ts not too much u loose in profits and u get stable rig…set and forget … lol

can you share a screen shot of oc setting pls

here are my settings. the card is RX 570 8GB Asrock ( fukin power hungry )
it consumes 95W. the 245 that you see is because i inserted also the PCs watts and the PSU conversion rate of power and it estimates total use of 245 watts.
Most RX 570/580 cards run well with 1150 core clock , 850 core voltage, 2050-2150 memory clock.

Hi,
Could you check these settings? I can’t find a solution. I don’t understand why it’s 5MH now but a week ago it was 15-16 MH. Polaris 1.7.5.0 modded.

1250/900 ?

GPU looks like throttling
