I updated the miner manually but I get 28m. Can’t set my argument to run
Afternoon all, now that you’v explained that i dont need values , whats the best oc’s for these cards.?
This is exactly what I’m trying to figure out with my 3070ti
How do you even enable nbminer? I see no options.
there is no need for an setting. Download newest version and run. It is automatic. Read readme
39.0(2021-08-15)

feature
:ethash
New LHR mode for ETH mining on RTX 30 series LHR GPUs, supports Windows & Linux, able to get ~70% of maximum unlocked hashrate.- This mode can be tuned by argument
-lhr
, only works forethash
right now. -
-lhr
default to 0, meaning even if-lhr
is not set, LHR mode with-lhr 68
will be applied to LHR GPUs if certain GPUs are detected.
- This mode can be tuned by argument
Mine 3070lhr went from 32 to 42
Where do I enter the command for “lhr”? It’s not automatic because my 3070ti is not getting a higher hashrate…
Extra arguments on the flight sheet: e.g. “lhr”: “68”
I’m getting 43mh/s with my 3070ti. Anyone else with a 3070ti tell me what hashrate you are getting? I feel like this should be higher?
You don’t need to change the flight sheet. NBminer v39.0 will automatically enable the “lhr” feature. I have a 3070Ti and it actually LOWERED my hashrate from 42 to 38.
MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Ventus 3X Overclocked Triple-Fan 8GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
How it appears in HiveOS:
GA104 [GeForce RTX 3070 Ti] 7982 MB · MSI
Micron GDDR6X · 94.04.5A.00.7C · PL 100 W, 290 W, 290 W
I’ve attached what you should see in the miner logs once the new version of nbminer starts up.
I reverted back to NBMiner v38.1 and my hashrate went back up to 42.
That’s a diferrent miner
The instructions you see are for windows. In HiveOS, the format is “lhr”:“0” (or “lhr”:“68”). Even then, the new version of NBMiner will auto-detect LHR cards and enable the feature without adding the parameter.
good catch, deleted post, fixing now, thanks
I was able to get NBMiner running and it did the exact same thing to me, it lowered my hashrate to 32 (3070ti) when it was 43 before…
I wonder if our issue is with:
[1] NBMiner can’t determine that our 3070Ti’s are LHR cards
…or…
[2] GeForce drivers incorrectly label our cards “NVIDIA Graphics Device” instead of “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti 8GB”
I’m going to move this card into my WIndows rig and see if I get the same behavior.
Let me know what happens with windows test. Interested.
We should be getting 50mh/s
In my Windows rig, I did see an increase to 49 MH (up from 42MH). Very nice!
I believe the issue is with the version of the NVidia drivers. I am running the latest version (465.31) that HiveOS allows. However in Windows I’m running latest (471.68), and the card actually appears as ‘NVIDIA GeForce 3070 Ti’.
I tried windows and it keeps crashing on me. I’m updated to the latest driver 471.68 as well. It crashes a couple minutes in every time. =/
Thats awesome you are getting 49mh/s.
is it works on GTX-3060?
