Multiple rigs mining normally but showing Offline in HiveOS (API connection issue)

Hello,

I am experiencing a strange issue on several HiveOS rigs.

The affected rigs continue mining normally and all shares are accepted by the pool.

However, the HiveOS dashboard randomly marks them as Offline even though they are still mining correctly.

I can ping Google (8.8.8.8), resolve DNS, and reach https://api.hiveos.farm (HTTP 403 is returned as expected), but requests to http://amster.hiveos.farm always time out.

The issue affects different hardware:

• Ryzen 7950X / 9950X / 9950X3D
• RTX 4090 and RTX 5060 Ti
• Different motherboards
• Different switches
• Same ISP and router

There is no common hardware or network factor between the affected rigs.

They can continue mining for hours while HiveOS reports them as offline, then reconnect without any intervention.

Has anyone experienced this recently, or is there a known issue with the HiveOS agent or API communication?

Some APIs seem to be having some issues today, you can manually change them all to a working one by selecting all workers → Repo/Server URL → Mirror URL → (pick one that has good ping to your location) → Set

if you run net-test it will print a list of the api servers, choose the one with the lowest ping that shows [OK]
