Low shares on 2miners?

I noticed a couple of days ago low speeds on 2miners. The pool indicated much lower speeds than what hive reported. 2miners stated an average of 9 to 22 for a 40 Mh/s card. Only had one card mining with them.

Also, shares compared to other pools were much lower. lolminer was reporting 4 on 2miners, while the other pools showed 25 for the same period.

What throws me off is that miningpoolsprofits.com shows no blocks for 2miners. They even removed them from the listing. While on the other hand 2miners is showing that they are mining blocks.

So is this something that only affects some people? Thought it might had been eth test (turning mining off), but the other pools are working fine

What card are you using? Share count in the miner will vary from pool to pool depending on the pools/servers difficulty ( look up vardiff on google if you want to learn more)

Thanks. I gave 2miners another try and things are looking better. They have an average hr close to the card’s speed.

The number of shares between the two pools doesn’t compare, as you pointed out because of vardiff. However, it is now only half instead of a sixth of the shares. Guess there was a problem and must have been fixed by now.

Though I should be rather low on the difficulty range because of my hashrate (44 on 2miners). Have more cards running on flexpool than on 2miners, so that should had made the vardiff on flexpool harder.

Even set up another instance of lolminer to reduce that variability. Could be that there is something wrong with the config for the miner lol
