is replace the original raiser USB with longer one (1-2 meter) can effect the card performance and/or the mining performance, can it cause hardware issue -cable is 3.0. I got hot place and I have to make bigger space between the cards for good air flow.
Shouldn’t make any difference. I’ve used a few 1m ones without issue.
I bought 4 USB cable… 2x2M, 1x1.5M, 1x1M
Here is the result I found :
1M works fine so far.
1.5M after some time the card lost and I have to reboot.
Again after some time card lost.
2M is immediately show malfunction and card won’t start.
All Cable type 3 and good quality.
