I recently tried to use my Android tablet (and phone) to access shellinabox. Got the worker through Chrome, but when I tried to enter ‘user’ in the login, it echoed the last character(s) typed ending with the character I just typed.
I took a screenshot of what’s happening.
Anyone experienced this before?

Yes, this problem exists in Android, you must use another keyboard. install “keyboard with ctrl key” from play store.
Thanks for the tip. Installed “Keyboard with Ctrl key” from the Android store and that resolved the problem. I can select that keyboard on the Chrome shell login page and go back to the standard Google keyboard when I’m finished.
