Nitro, Red Dragon, Phantom Gaming - the same behaviour.
So, do you have any useful information about subj issue?
I provide all necessary information.
My settings**:
** there also applied voltage offset patch for core -75mV without it will be ~800mV or so, but for sure lower than yours
Sapphire Nitro
At first view undervolting works fine…
Do you flash your card in some way?
Try to set CC=2000 & CV=800? What show amd-info in that case?
What voltage offset patch for core -75mV do you use?
Voltage offset it’s amdgpu linux kernel module parameter to fine-tune core voltage.
In math language, it looks like this core clock and core voltage in the latest AMD cards is a quadratic function. The core voltage offset is an upward or downward shift of the function on the voltage axis.
I prefer efficiency instead hashrate. In my case 1925@750 much better than 2000@800
Anyway, what voltage offset patch are you using?
Why might undervolting at 2000@800 not work for me? How do you think?
Try 1925@750 … What power consumption, real core clock, core voltage will be with this values?
It’s something RX 6800 related only … can’t reproducing on other AMD 6xxx series GPUs
So, HiveOS has problem with undervolting RX6800 in mixed rigs, for example RX6800+RX580, on higher core frequencies (CC>1800 MHz). Can developers or support explain this BUG in HiveOS?
Are there any developers or support here?
- Undervolting don’t work properly in mixed rigs (580+6800)
- Undervolting don’t work properly on higher frequencies (2100+)
Any HiveOS support?
No support… :(((
Does it work on its own?
