Hello everyone, Please, I am planning to build a GPU mining rig with a 2400 Watt PSU for 12 of the AMD RX590 and B250/B250c Mobo, Is it a good idea? I need your suggestions. Thank you.
Depends on your power rate, have you looked at profit calc sites to know what to expect? I personally wouldn’t recommend someone mine with ~8 year old gpus.

Secondly, according to Hive OS Statistics AMD RX 580 is the most popular card on Hove than any other AMD cards.
There are a lot of factors that come into play. Really depends on your strategy (do you plan on reselling, do you need the excess heat generated, do you pay for power etc)
also depends what you can find locally for a good deal. rx580s arent worth using at most residential and commercial power rates

as mentioned there are many strategies, i personally like to have current to last gen hardware. right now mostly 4070 supers and up, they are pricier than the $30-50 rx580s, but you never have to worry about them not being profitable (making less than the cost to run them)
if you dont want to spend ~$500-600 on a 4070 super id look at 30 series at the lowest, amd doesnt really have any great bargain mining cards right now unless you have really cheap power.
