How to turn display off

Hi all,

I’m looking for a way to turn off my screen while the rig is mining in a way similar to how Windows works by default (after a few mins are passed, turn screen off).

I tried “sudo systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target” as THIS thread is suggesting but it didn’t make any difference.

typically you can press the power button and instantly close the laptop before it initializes and it wont power the display on at all. or you can try something like this How to turn off screen with shortcut in Linux? - Super User
