How to immediately drop power usage when internet connection lost?

Hi,
I have a lots of electricity cut outs daily in my area due to power failure and overheat, so i use UPS.
formerly i used nicehash and when power cut out internet goes down to so rig stop mining and power usage drop immediately so UPS can keep up running until power come back… But in Hiveos power usage stay high even after Internet down!! so UPS shut off very early.
Any suggestion or setting to prevent that?

Try with the watch dog or something

I don’t think watchdog useful in my case as it restart miner when hashrate drops and it’s purpose is to make mining continue if problems happened.
