HiveOS is not showing any of my NVIDIA Cards

Hello to all,

I am setting up a rig with NVIDIA cards (3060ti LHR and 2080ti) the components are as follows:

motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z490-A
FA: GYGABYTE 1000W
Graphics 1: RTX 3060TI
Graphics 2: RTX 2080ti
Processor: Intel i5
HiveOS version: 0.6-212@211215

I have installed HiveOS as the official website says following all the steps, I have updated the system correctly. I have tried without any graphics and it detects the integrated graphics of the processor.

Once this is correct, I have put my first riser with the 2080ti, I turn on HiveOS and it doesn’t detect anything, only the installed graphic.

I have the BIOS with version 2103 and with the following characteristics:

a. Set default factory optimized, before making any
Additional changes. On my board, this is F2

b. Advanced / Platform Misc Config:

  • PCIe Native Power Management / Disabled
  • DMI Link ASPM Control / Disabled

know, others will tell you to set gen 1, or gen 2.
I’ve tested this on this board extensively. Setting
this makes no difference on this board, so I just
leave it set to Auto and it works no problem at
    all.

f. Advanced / PCH Config:

  • PCIe Config / Speed / Auto (again, setting gen 1,
or gen 2 makes no difference at all.

I can’t get it to detect either the 2080ti or the 3060ti LHR… can anyone help me?

do the cards work directly on the motherboard? display output from the cards work?

Hi Keaton, thanks for your answer.

No, the motherboard does not recognise either of the 2 cards if I plug them in directly. I have entered the BIOS and nothing appears there either.

I’ve tried one and then the other, and there’s no way.

I’ve tried the risers and they don’t work either, I’ve changed all the cabling and they don’t work either.

I have tested the cards on another PC and currently, it is mining on the other PC without any problems.

I have the impression that the board that I got is defective, the other components work without problems.

Maybe you have some ideas that can enlighten me
