Reinstalling the image does not help, I tried different versions. Same thing on the other rig. I tried changing the ssd, nothing. Just yesterday everything was working fine. What is the problem?
There are some issues with hive shell that are being worked on, its not a problem on your end

I too have been playing around here for a day fixing the shell with no success until I came across this post.
No offence , but true.
the hive shell issue is not one related to the newest build, it is a hive shell problem
