Hi all, this is my first time participating in this forum. Since I started using WiFi for my rig instead of a LAN cable, Hive OS displays a wrong public/remote IP address (xxx.xx.xx.xxx). I have to google “my ip address” to find out my correct public/remote IP address. I’m not talking about my local IP address (192.168.xxx.xxx). What am I doing wrong? I thought Remote IP is my public IP address.
Hi. to correct external IP of rig, start a Hive shell box (in RIG information page press Remote access menu Icon and select Hive Shell start) and type command.
This will refresh and correct Remote IP.
