Hive Flasher .img.xz

I have a msata ssd and wish to install HOS in it. I dont have a usb to msata cable to install direct to it.

So I followed the instruction in detail in the Hive Flasher instruction.
I flashed the Hive os flasher to a usb stick and copy the latest hive os in it.

Then is copied the rid confing to the hive-config.stub folder

Remove the usb stick and plugin in my mining rig where the msata is in.
it runs and stop here.

I am assuming that the hive os that we download is hiveos-xxxxx.img.xz instead of just .img is the reason its not installing.

the best solution is to buy a usb to msata cable. ignore this

Is there any other solution?

Dont u have a usb flash drive and flash hive on it and boot from it? Or some regular drive

Same problem over here. Turns to be the flashdrive himself.
Try it with a new flashdrive and Rufus
