Hive boot screen freeze

Hi all,

I have a setup of 6 amd gpu’s. I got the Hive os on a bootable usb. When I try to boot I see the boot screen. No error seems to occur until the screen reaches the “[ok] startup hive.” line and it just hangs there. When I press the shutdown button on the pc it continues to log but is then shutting down.

While it hangs on startup hive and checking the hiveos.farm website I can see that the rig and the miner are online but can’t be managed. Also it says that the gpu’s aren’t mounted.

Was this solved . getting the same with RX570s…might go back SMOS

Your setup has the boot video card different from what HiveOS uses when X starts.

Move your monitor cable to the other video cards to see which one HiveOS X uses. Then set your system to use that card when booting. That way boot and X are on the same card.
