couldn’t find any good answers on the web so I hope one of you dear geeks could help with this.
straight to the point… I need to turn off HDD and SSD when mining. I have Hiveos on the flash drive and i don’t want any excess noise/wear/power consumption from HDD.
- cannot plug/unplug HDD and SSD every time i load hiveos.
- I tested it and my HDD doesn’t go to sleep automatically in Hiveos.
- please explain your suggestions fully, there are many answers around hdparm and other command and unless i miss a critical part, they don’t work.
any help is appreciated specially form dudes who already done this and knows how to…
