GTX 1080 OC settings PIL applied to all cards

Hello Gents,

I am news to mining and I have been trying to activate the “enlargement pill” for the 1080s only but for some reason, the setting gets applied to all cards and they stop mining.

After rebooting, the miner does not start and generates the following error

Use the miners memory tweak option instead of the pill, you can specify which cards to apply it to in the miner config, more stable than using the pill as well.

Hello @bobc5025, I went through the documentation as you recommended and I learned that “mt”:“6” (applies tweak mode #6 to all cards that support the functionality). Which means that the
ETHlargementPill is applied to all supported Pascal GPUs with GDDR5 or GDDR5X memory.

Mt is different and gets more hash then the pill you can also dial it back on one card if needed. If you use commas like I did you can specify which cards are which level of mt. The pill hasn’t been updated in years when I last checked it.
