Error with hardware or hiveos? Machine Check Exception: 5 Bank 4

Hey guys,

Having a problem with my Hive OS. Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or knows of a fix.

The rig runs fine for 15-30 mins then freezes with this error.

So far I’ve tried, reinstalling Hive OS. Updating Hive OS. Switching Memory. Reinstalling CPU. Lowering OC for GPUs. Adjusting Bios settings. All appropriate ones are good (PCI Gen2, Enable 4G Decoding, Disable CSM Support)

Running out of ideas.

try with other CPU if you have one that matches the socket on your motherboard, replace this one and test.

Seems to have worked! Switching the CPU fixed the problem. It’s been running for 24 hours straight without any more crashes!
