Error: invalid arch-independent ELF magic

Hey- Everytime i try to boot up my hiveOS SSD drive OR a Flash drive it errors out and says

error: invalid arch-independent ELF magic
Entering rescue mode…
grub rescue>

Any Thoughts?

Having the same issue, looking for some troubleshooting steps as all my hardware is detected as per system settings.

I also tried to boot with the non-UEFI partition and im getting the same error message

I had this problem too, got the torrent for Hiveos-0.6-212-stable, there seems to be a GPT PMBR size mismatch. I created my media with dd after extracting the archive.

You can check for this (on linux) with

#If you get an error message about size mismatch with
sudo fdisk -l /dev/sdX

#you can fix it with
sudo parted -l /dev/sdX

where X is the drive you put hiveos on, e.g. /dev/sdc
