WildRig-Multi: Configuration Guide

Current version: 0.13.1

Intro

This is a modern miner for AMD GPU, which is actively developed and supports various algorithms.
This package is based on the original package from the developer, with some bug fixes that I discovered and the addition of support for failover servers.
Supported algorithms: aergo. bcd, bitcore (timetravel10), c11, exosis, geek, hex, hmq1725, nist5, phi, polytimos, renesis, skunk (skunkhash), sonoa, timetravel, tribus, x16r, x16s, x17, x18,x22i.

Supported GPU’s

• Baffin: RX460, RX560 and some RX550
• Ellesmere: RX470, RX480, RX570 and RX580
• gfx900: Vega 56/64

Dev-fee set as 1% (default 2%).

Hive OS configuration

Create wallet and create new Flightsheet. Under Flightsheet select coin, wallet, select pool if exist as HiveOS template and select Custom miner as miner
Under “Custom miner”:

1. Put link http://download.hiveos.farm/custom/wildrig-multi-0.13.1.tar.gz into field “Installation URL”
   Miner name in field “Miner name” in this case will set as wildrig-multi .
2. Select Hashing algorithm from dropdown list
3. Put your Wallet and Worker name as suggested by pool. Usually %WAL%.%WORKER_NAME% is enough where %WAL% will be substituted to your wallet and %WORKER_NAME% to your worker name.
4. Put pool URL and failover servers (one server per line) into “Pool URL” field.
5. Put pool password if needed into “Pass” field
6. Set additional arguments for best performance

Это современный майнер для AMD GPU, который активно развивается и поддерживает различные алгоритмы.
Этот пакет основан на исходном пакете от разработчика, с некоторыми исправлениями ошибок, которые я обнаружил, и добавлением поддержки резервных серверов в конфигурацию.
Поддерживаемые алгоритмы: bcd, bitcore (timetravel10), c11, exosis, geek, hex, hmq1725, nist5, phi, polytimos, renesis, skunk (skunkhash), sonoa, timetravel, tribus, x16r, x16s, x17, x22i.

Настройка в Hive OS

1. Скопируйте ссылку http://download.hiveos.farm/custom/wildrig-multi-0.13.1.tar.gz в поле “Установочный URL”
   Имя майнера “Miner name” в этом случае сразу установиться wildrig-multi .
2. Выбырите Хэш алгоритм из выпадающего списка из числа поддерживаемых майнером.
3. Разместите имя пользователя (как правило кошелек и название воркера) согласно требований пула. Обычно это %WAL%.%WORKER_NAME%.
4. Пропишите адрес пула и резервных серверов при необходимости.
5. Установите если необходимо паролья в поле “Pass”.
6. Установите дополнительные настройки для получения максимальной производительности.
   (см таблицы топика английской версии или на странице обсуждения майнера)

This file included in install package. Please update custom package using command:

custom-get http://download.hiveos.farm/custom/wildrig-multi-0.12.5.1.tar.gz -f

or install library to system by typing following command:

apt install -y libuv1

Fast x22i benchmark with non-agressive OC settings

RX 570	3.5 MH
RX 470	3.3 MH	2.5 MH was with v0.12.5.1
RX 560	1.5 MH

It’s much better then previous but this algo very strong on NVidia cards:
Just for reference: NVidia 1050ti - 2.4 MH 1060/3G - 4.4 MH with T-Rex 0.7.2

Fast benchmark x22i

RX470 ~3.7 MH so around ~10% in average improvements - not bad.
According bitcointalks thread RX580 achieved the same values as GTX 1060/6G with T-Rex as miner

It’s another version of this miner (WildRig) which support only Wild Keccak algo and long time not updated.
But I talked with developer of this miner and he says about his plan to add wild keccak support from WildRig to WildRig-Multi

• speedup for all algo’s, up to 10%

Don’t forget to check updated OPTIMAL PARAMETERS, they have changed, especially for RX580 for x22i
