Card running warm

I have one card that just refuses to cool down for me. I have relocated to an open air rig, plenty of airflow, even have one of those “turbo fans” I borrowed from the wife blowing on the rig… It’s not dangerously hot but I want it to be below 70 like its twin… Any suggestions? Should I disassemble and replace thermal pads? I have fans set to autofan, but even when I forced it to run 100% it won’t drop below 72 so I would rather not hear the card screaming if the temp remains the same… lol

There is also that EVGA 1660 that runs fine but stopped reporting fan speed… on reboot it comes back but then goes away again… It’s an old card so I’ll probably just retire it???

72c on memory isn’t high at all. I wouldn’t worry about that. Also, your 1660 is crashing the driver from too aggressive memory clocks, reduce and reboot until stable.

Dropped it to 2000 - no joy
Dropped it all the way to 1100 getting an error…

Actually it seems stable now, at least for a few minutes.
