Bricked Gigabyte RX 590

I picked up a 590 on Ebay. First time installing in Windows kept crashing the system. Installed it on HIveOS and it sees the card but does not work. The interesting part is that when seen on HiveOs it shows up as RX470/480 with the serial number all XXX-XXX-XXX. Why does it appear like this and how do i fix it.

New to mining, but am really enjoying it. Look forward to continuing to build the operation and participate in the community.

Run command nvidia-info on hive os shell and report what you see. It will tell you exactly whether it’s a 590 or 470-480. Alternatively boot your rig on Windows and run GPU-Z. It will give you full and exact specs
