Biostar TB-250 doesnt work with 1 to 4 pcie splitter

Hello, everyone.
I have 6 GPU mining rig with Biostar TB-250 motherboard (yes, I know it is old). Recently, I bought 1 to 4 Pcie splitter in order to connect 7th GPU. As soon as I connect 7th card to that splitter and start the rig it freezes with stripes on the monitor. 6 gpus even with splitter connected work fine. I run hive os, using 8gb of ram.
Notice: bios version is original from 2014.

Does anyone succeeded using splitters on these motherboards or it doesn’t worth my time trying?

theyre hit or miss, especially with older mobos. did you try with the latest bios? does it work with just cards plugged into the splitter and no others?

4 to 1 splitters will generally work on 16 x slots. There are 4 pcie lanes on a 16x slot, 3 lanes on a 8x slot, 2 lanes on a 4x slot and one lane on a 1x slot.
