ASUS Z87-Pro (Rev. 1.02, BIOS.: 2103) AMD 6. (GPU: 470,480)

Hello!

It has been operating for months on the motherboard named in the title with 6 cards. You do not recognize card 6 after moving. 5 cards work perfectly well but don’t recognize one.
I tried GEN1 and GEN2 variations.
All unnecessary power consumers are disabled
iGPU disabled
4g decoding (unfortunately I can’t find it because the bios is not included)

GPU .: 4x AMD RX470, 2x AMD RX480
CPU .: Intel Core i3-4130
Motherboard: ASUS Z87-Pro (Rev. 1.02)

I don’t understand why you don’t recognize it now if it has worked the way it should before.

Watch out for adds, moves, and changes damaging riser and cable systems. They are not durable items. Is there a consistent single slot, GPU, riser, power leg, etc. that is not getting discovered?

Have you mapped the PCIe to GPU addresses when it all comes up correctly? An old screen shot you made like this may be helpful.

fwiw: Mine can be touchy with the 5+1 situation as well. I am not sure if your Pro has (7) PCIe slots, but I did have to attempt a few combinations to get (6) GPUs to work consistently. I am not using PCIe#6 in particular, it did not play nice at the 5GPU+ stage.

Same limits as you with ancient BIOS, some settings do not exist.
iGPU and everything, I am mean everything except LAN&USB1&PCI is disabled.
Running headless (no GPU) as monitor. Only SSH to manage.
