ASUS B250 Mining expert P106 cards

I just picked up a B250 ME board and read that if I want to use the full capacity of 19 cards, the first 8 must be P106 cards.

Is this a hard rule or a suggestion? The P106-100 runs 159 avg on eBay used, which is not bad but it seems to only get in around 20-25 MH/s. I’d rather use 1660 ti

Anybody NOT using the P106s in their 19 GPU rig?
