Agent logs showing miner password in plain text

Hello fellow miners,

I was going though the commands for hiveos and came across the command to access the agent logs. the logs can be accessed by using either of these commands.

• motd watch → select option 0

• agent-screen log

• agent-screen

the password is showing in plain text when you use the first two commands and it is only masked when you use the third command.

all these commands are retrieving the same data but I am wondering why the password is not masked in all cases and if there is a way to mask the password.

did anyone go through the similar situation, let me know your thoughts.

Got the below reply from support.

" is normal, because this password is needed for the server API

even if this password is intercepted, hacking will not work

only the ssh password is important"
