Adding Workers

I had everything running and my workers were not reporting properly so I removed them from the hub and was going to re-add them but it says this device is already managed by HiveOn. But when I look at my Farm, there’s nothing there and when I try to add it won’t allow it as the miners already have HiveOS installed.

Seems like a dead loop. How do I get out of it?

If youre running hiveon firmware, it communicates directly with hiveos without the need for hub. Add in your farmhash on the asics ip dashboard under the hiveos tab, and it will be added to your farm

Thanks Keaton but I had already done that and the workers still don’t show up :frowning:

Dd you receive a success message after applying te farmhash? Sure that it matches the farm youre checking?

Are you able click to save to file then upload the whole log? There is some info above that last part that will be helpful

Not really and I really just want the workers to show up in my hub - I don’t really care about the farm. So if you can tell me how to clear them from the farm so I can add them to my hub, I’ll be happy.

i mean right below the log you posted there should be a button that says “save to file” or similar, or you can click inside that box and ctrl + a to copy the whole log, that will tell us what the issue is

I appreciate that Keaton and the miners are on a completely isolated network that I access via a vm with a proxy setup so it’s not that simple. Also, I don’t let the miners communicate outside of the network to anything - only to the pools where I mine which is why I want them connected to my hub which is running on the same network.

So if you could tell me why, when I try to add them to my hub, it fails telling me that the miner is already being managed by HiveOn. I’m guessing it’s because HiveOS is already installed so if that’s the case, how do I trick the hub into registering them?

If they have to be registered with the farm first, then my guess is they aren’t showing up in there because I have them isolated behind a pretty healthy firewall. So what port/URL do I need to open up to get them to show up on the farm page?

If you look in/post the log you get when applying the farmhash it should give some indication of what part is or is not working, you can do this remotely as wel though your vm.
